Getting acquainted with Thomas Ang for
the first time, you'll immediately be hit by his laidback and easy-going
personality. However, don't mistake this lack of zeal for
nonchalance-he is just an extremely modest guy.
"The Peeping Thom is a recluse who revels in taking
photographs, playing with his dog and enjoying family life," he replies,
when asked about his adventures. A one-man photography operation,
Thomas thinks that one thing is very important when it comes to
photography. And that is having fun.
Although Thomas doesn't like to see The Peeping Thom as
a business enterprise-more like a paid passion-his sense of humour more
than makes up for the fact that the wedding services he provides
basically "pays the bills." He believes that wedding photography should
be kept simple and real, because that is what really matters.
"I'm not a prim and proper photographer," says Thomas.
And with that declaration, you can be assured that your wedding memories
will not be a replica of any other's. Forget about getting that
perfectly posed shot or being told to stand still and look good for the
camera. The Peeping Thom's style is fun, unobtrusive, raw, and
spontaneous.
