Blissful Brides Magazine played host to an extensive selection of bridal merchants at Marina Square Central Atrium over the National Day weekend.

On the auspicious date of 8 August 2008, the Central Atrium at Marina Square saw a burst of activity as 20 booths of bridal boutiques, photographers, beauty salons and other bridal vendors gathered for the first day of the Wedding Extravaganza organised by Blissful Brides Magazine. The four-day event was lively with thrilled couples that were able to find all their wedding essentials assembled in one area for their convenience.

Each couple that signed up for the event received a free gift sponsored by Asience when they registered at our booth. United Overseas Bank cardholders also picked up free handphone straps exclusive to the magazine. Furthermore, brides-to-be who pre-purchased the upcoming issue of Blissful Brides Magazine walked home with goodie bags consisting of Serta collectibles and Celia G favours and also a chance to win over $10, 000 worth of prizes sponsored by Soo Kee Jewellery and others in our Grand Lucky Draw.

The ten bridal boutiques, namely Bliss Bridal Creations, Bridal Concept, Bridal de Couture, Golden Horse Awards, Signoria Nuziale, Style Bridal & Beauty, Thomson Wedding D'sign, WhiteLink, Yvonne Creative and X-Zen Bridal.Hair.Photography adorned their booths with beautiful examples of their wedding photography services and the gorgeous gowns that were designed by their own designers, as well as some that were imported from overseas. The Lightbox Productions booth was constantly crowded with couples who were drawn to the wedding videos and photo montages that were looping on the laptops.

Other than promoting their wedding song-writing services, Wedding Harmony also entertained the crowd with live music. M Hotel Singapore and Royal Catering Services generously handed out samples from their popular menus, such as canapés, chocolates and cheesecakes, while Black Tongues gamely distributed glasses for a quick tasting of their unique Spanish wines. Body Contours and Beauty Hope were offering quick massages and treatments for the couples that were tired from all the browsing at the individual booths. Wink Play, which provided the lovely floral wall decals for the event, also decorated their booth with a creative display of designs and got many couples interested in customising some for their new home.

At the end of the four days, the event helped many couples find their perfect wedding packages from the bridal boutiques. They also enjoyed many great deals which were provided by the wedding merchants specially for the extravaganza.
