Wedding details not to scrimp on

Keeping to your wedding budget can be a challenge, especially if you want that dream wedding. There are definitely things that we would want to spend as little as possible in order to save and keep within your budget.

However, as much as you’re going to look at the more affordable items, there are some wedding details that you should not scrimp on and to have a wedding with no regrets.

Wedding dress:

Choosing the right dress for you is one of the more important decision that you will have to make. As a bride, you will be donning this dress for the most of the day. Not only will you need to find a dress that makes you look like you’re on top of the world, but you’ll also need to find one that you’ll be most comfortable in. This also enables to both feel and look good on your special day.

Wedding photographer:

Though you might have friends who are able to take Instagram-worthy photographs, that doesn’t equal to good wedding photography. Hiring a professional for your wedding photography or videography will not be a decision you’ll regret. These documented moments will be the ones that will stay with you longer than anything else from your wedding day.

Unprofessionally taken photographs or videos might dampen the experience or the memories of your day, especially if you’ve put in so much effort to look your best and plan the best for your wedding.

Food:

Food is another major factor of your wedding. Great food equals happy and satisfied guests. You should never leave your guests hungry or dissatisfied. Doing so will only give them a bad memory and opinion of your wedding ceremony despite how well planned and beautifully decorated everything else was. Your wedding menu does not have to be ridiculously expensive or made up of exotic dishes. Sometimes, the most simply prepared dish will be a hit.

Keep in mind to consider the various dietary needs of your guests to ensure no one is left out.

Venue:

The right venue is the pretty much the core of your whole wedding planning. Venues are not just a location when it comes to weddings, but it also plays apart in setting the mood or theme of your wedding. Though it is not necessary to spend a bomb on the wedding venue, it is important that you select one that is able to meet your wedding needs. Look out for factors such as seating capacity, additional services provided such as catering (if any) and beauty of the venue and surrounding area. These factors go hand in hand in making your wedding a memorable and smooth sailing one.

Entertainment:

Guests look forward to being entertained at your wedding, especially during the reception. Hence, providing quality entertainment can be considered a priority. Different entertainers come at different costs, depending on what you’re going for. You don’t have to plan for a concert-like experience for your guests, all you have to do is maybe have a performance here and there. If your guests are more hands-on, your entertainment can be as simple as including a karaoke machine for your guests to sing their hearts out.
