"Photography
is not about finding beautiful people/places, but about finding the beauty in
people/places."
An avid
photographer since 2012, Mike first started venturing into professional
photography in 2014 to fund his travels and equipment. After a short stint in
nightclub photography, he ventured into wedding photography and never looked
back. In terms of photography, he enjoys taking candid shots without posing and
does minimal editing in order to keep his photos looking as natural as
possible.
Speed,
sharpness and vibrancy is key to his photography style. As a result, his
favourite lenses are:
Nikon 50mm 1.4d
for the perfect “human eye” shots
Nikon 16mm 2.8d Fisheye for the dramatic and alternative angles
Tokina 17mm f3.5 AT-X PRO for the wide landscape/group shots
In his free
time, Mike enjoys travelling and taking photographs of all genres from street
to landscape photography. The human element is almost always a critical one as
it adds an interesting flavour to the composition of the photo.
