Our wedding banquet was held on 14 May 2017 at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. We had two events, a solemnization on 13 May and a banquet on 14 May, with close to 500 guests. The most memorable part of holding our wedding banquet at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel was the superb service that we had from our wedding planner – Stella Ng. She was very experienced and really helped us out during the planning process, very meticulously from start to end. She brought up many things that we were not aware of, and provided valuable insights when we had trouble making a decision. We knew that we could count on our wedding planner for things to go smoothly on our big day, so we could really relax and enjoy. We chose this hotel because it's a 5-star hotel and we knew we would be getting excellent service and decor, and because we had a lot of guests, their ballroom will be able to fit too. It’s also located centrally at Orchard MRT station, which will be very convenient for our guests. Most of our guests complimented on the delicious food served, and the convenience of getting to our banquet. The ballroom is also approriately-sized in the sense that all our guests were able to get a good view of us up on the stage without any blocking pillars or structures. Our vegetarian and Muslim guests also mentioned that their portion of food was delicious as well!
