Getting There (and Getting Photos)

The hotel is a seven-minute sheltered walk from City Hall MRT, with Clarke Quay MRT close by as well. For guests arriving from different parts of the island, that kind of MRT access makes a real difference on the night, particularly for elderly relatives or family members who aren't keen on long cab rides.

The Civic District location also puts a range of photo spots within walking distance. Fort Canning Park is close enough to shoot at without needing a car. Clarke Quay's riverside and the National Gallery are both walkable, as is the Armenian Street stretch with its colonial architecture. Couples can get outdoor shots during golden hour without a separate transfer eating into the banquet schedule.

Inside the hotel, the Sky Lounge doubles as a photo backdrop for obvious reasons. The Grand Lobby works for formal arrival shots. The Falls, one of the hotel's two pools, offers a more relaxed setting, while The Study, an executive lounge space, works well for smaller group shots.

Inclusions run to complimentary beer service and house wine per table, along with a bridal suite stay. Selected packages also come with a second night's accommodation and dining vouchers. Every couple gets a dedicated wedding planner who handles the process from menu planning through to day-of coordination, so you're not fielding vendor questions while trying to get your makeup done.

Couples are encouraged to secure their preferred dates at least 12 months ahead, especially for peak wedding seasons and weekend celebrations. For guests travelling from further afield, the hotel makes it easy to extend the event into a city staycation. Its dining venues and pools give out-of-town relatives a reason to stay on rather than checking out the next morning.
