Conrad Singapore Marina Bay: Editor's Choice for Preferred Wedding Banquet 2026

What makes Conrad Singapore Marina Bay different? Walk into the lobby, and the first thing you see is a spiral chandelier pointing down from a gold ceiling, right above a five-metre steel sculpture by artist Rafael Barrios called Turbulence. Bamboo lines the walkways. The whole space is built around Feng Shui, with each piece standing for one of the five elements.

And that's just the lobby. The hotel has over 3,400 original artworks spread across its public areas and guest rooms, blending bold modern design with a sense of place you don't often find in the Marina Bay area. You take all of this in before you've even reached the ballroom.

That care for space and detail is a big part of why Conrad Singapore Marina Bay earns a spot on our Blissful Brides Editor's Choice Awards for Preferred Wedding Banquet this year.

The Grand Ballroom and the Pavilion

The hotel offers 1,285 square metres of event space across its venues, but two matter most for weddings.

The Grand Ballroom is the flagship. Pillarless, with high ceilings and Italian chandeliers, it fits up to 408 guests. There's a full LED wall at the front and a wide foyer with floor-to-ceiling windows for the welcome drinks. You reach it via a sweeping marble staircase from the lobby, which does exactly what you'd hope for a march-in. The ballroom can also split into smaller sections. So, couples with guest lists closer to 200 won't feel lost in a room built for twice that.

Then there's the Pavilion. It's glass-enclosed and sits by the pool, with room for up to 150 guests. Natural light pours in during the day, with views out across the Marina Bay area. For couples planning a lunch event or a cosier evening banquet, the Pavilion gives you something most CBD hotels can't: a sense of the outdoors without being outdoors. In Singapore's weather, that counts for a lot.

Beyond these two spaces, the hotel has a Grand Salon and a set of salon rooms, each with its own look. These work well for tea ceremonies, small receptions, or a cocktail hour before the main event, so couples don't have to fit everything into a single room.

The Food: Golden Peony's Kitchen

A wedding banquet is, for many guests, mostly a dinner. And for Chinese banquets, the food carries real weight. The kitchen behind Conrad Singapore Marina Bay's banquet menus is run by Chef Ku Keung. He's Hong Kong-born and has led the hotel's

Golden Peony restaurant for close to two decades, having joined in 2005. In that time, Golden Peony has become one of Singapore's more trusted names for Cantonese food, and holds a Michelin Guide listing and a Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Award for Best Asian Cuisine in Singapore.

Chef Ku's style blends classic Cantonese cooking with a modern hand. His menus riff on Hong Kong heritage dishes but bring in fresh ideas in technique and plating. That same thinking shapes the wedding banquet menus. Couples work with the hotel's team to build bespoke menus around their tastes, which gives Conrad Singapore Marina Bay a real edge.

Service That Shows

Conrad Singapore Marina Bay's wedding team handles the full planning process, from venue choice and menu details to décor and the run of show on the day. Sure, these are small things, but they add up on a day when you don't want to think about logistics.

The wider setup helps too. The hotel sits at Two Temasek Boulevard, a three-minute walk from Promenade MRT. Easy for guests from all over the island. With 512 rooms across 31 floors, there's space for the bridal party and family from out of town. The hotel also has a pool, spa, and lounge for guests who want to make more of the stay.

Conrad Singapore Marina Bay: Art, Craft, and a Strong Showing

A hotel that pairs one of Singapore's largest private art collections with Feng Shui design, a top-tier Cantonese kitchen, and event spaces that range from glass-walled and intimate to grand and pillarless brings a lot to the table. Add the Marina Bay address and a wedding team that earns praise by name, and you have a strong case for any couple's shortlist.

This is Conrad Singapore Marina Bay's first time on our Editor's Choice list. It's a well-earned debut.
