Weddings at Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford 2026: From SKAI Suites to the Fairmont Ballroom
2026-10-08
Some couples picture a solemnisation with a handful of witnesses and the skyline behind them. Others picture a banquet where every guest, however far back their table, can see the couple during the yam seng. Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford, the two hotels at Raffles City in City Hall, have room for both pictures and most of what falls between.

The hotels put the range at anything from a 30-person solemnisation to a 1,400-guest banquet, all within one integrated destination. Chinese banquets, Western receptions, cocktail weddings and full wedding galas each fit somewhere in the collection, and so do intimate celebrations for a few dozen. Getting guests there is simple too: the MRT connects directly at City Hall and Esplanade, and there is ample parking for the relatives who prefer to drive.
SKAI Suites and the View from Level 69
Let’s start at the top. SKAI Suites on Level 69 host intimate luxury weddings of approximately 180 guests, and the windows run the length of the room, so the panoramic skyline follows you from the march-in to the last toast. The style here is modern sky-high romance, which feels about right once you see the city laid out behind the stage.
The suites double as one of the best photo spots on the property, with golden sunsets and expansive city views from that height. The rest of the SKAI group is part of the same collection. SKAI Restaurant, a contemporary grill with panoramic Marina Bay views, can be bought out for the wedding, and SKAI Bar on Level 70 is the pick for photos at sunset and again once the city lights come on. SKAI Loft works as a wedding location in its own right, though it suits an after-party just as well once the speeches are done.
Most weddings across both hotels take place indoors, but selected venues can host solemnisations and cocktail receptions with skyline views and an outdoor-style ambience.
Three Ballrooms for Bigger Guest Lists
Further down, the scale changes. Three ballrooms cover medium and large celebrations, and when a guest list grows past them, couples can draw on the extensive event spaces of Raffles City Convention Centre.
The Fairmont Ballroom is the largest, taking up to 1,400 wedding guests. It ranks among the largest pillarless ballrooms in Singapore, with a 6.1m ceiling and dramatic chandeliers overhead. No pillars means no table stuck behind one, so the aunty at the back sees the yam seng as clearly as the head table does. LED screens come built into the room.
The Stamford Ballroom sits in the middle at approximately 480 guests. It has LED screens of its own and 4m ceilings, and the look leans towards contemporary elegance. For medium to large celebrations, it gives a proper ballroom setting at a size that still feels full.
The Atrium Ballroom is the most intimate of the three at approximately 260 guests, and it comes with a dedicated cocktail area where guests can gather before the doors open. Smaller weddings and solemnisations sit well here. Across all three rooms, the ballroom foyers and the interiors beneath the statement chandeliers make popular photo locations, and the architecture of the wider hotel complex gives photographers plenty more to work with.
Dining, from Chinese Banquets to JAAN
At Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford, the ballroom menus range from classic Chinese banquets to elegant Western set menus, and the award-winning chefs will create bespoke menus for couples who want something built around their own celebration. Themes stretch just as far, from garden-inspired set-ups to contemporary luxury.
Restaurant buyouts suit intimate weddings of 20 to 270 guests, depending on the venue and its configuration. JAAN by Kirk Westaway, with two Michelin stars, is the headline name. CLOVE serves an international buffet, while Asian Market Café's buffet is Halal-certified. Selected private dining and event spaces can also be booked, subject to availability, and some of the restaurants overlook Marina Bay, which gives a private dinner its own photo backdrop. With a two-Michelin-star kitchen and a Halal-certified buffet in the same collection, couples can match the food to the people they are feeding.
Staying Over, and the Romance Team
Because both Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford offer world-class accommodation, the couple and any overseas relatives can stay in the same complex as the banquet. Willow Stream Spa is there for a quieter afternoon before the big day. Swimming pools and fitness facilities fill out a long wedding weekend, with shopping at Raffles City and easy access to Singapore's cultural and entertainment districts, as well as the CBD. Guests who are Accor members can collect loyalty programme benefits where applicable.
Planning runs through the Romance Team, the hotels' dedicated wedding specialists, who oversee the details from the first venue consultation to on-site event management. Along the way they handle package customisation, menu planning with tasting sessions, seating and event flow, and vendor coordination, with audio-visual coordination on top. They also arrange the bridal suite and guest accommodation and suggest ancillary experiences. On the day itself, the same team provides wedding day operations support.
Packages, Pricing and When to Book
Ballroom wedding packages start from approximately S$1,828++ per table of 10 guests. They include Chinese banquet menus or Western set menus, beverage service, a bridal suite stay, wedding favours, invitation cards, floral décor, AV support and parking privileges. For large ballroom celebrations, total package values typically range from S$30,000+ to S$100,000+, depending on venue selection and guest count, with enhancements on top.
Premium packages such as SKAI Suites start from approximately S$198.80++ per guest, and include exclusive venue usage, premium dining menus, the skyline experience and personalised service.
Their wedding packages usually cover a solemnisation setup, a curated dining experience, private venue usage and customised floral arrangements. Restaurant buyout packages include private dining, cocktail receptions, customised menu experiences and curated wine and beverage pairings. Package inclusions vary by venue and season.
On timing, the hotels suggest 12 to 18 months in advance for popular weekend dates, and 18 to 24 months for peak wedding seasons and large ballroom weddings. For intimate weddings and weekday celebrations, 6 to 12 months may be sufficient. Due to strong demand, couples are encouraged to secure ballrooms early.
Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford: One Address, Every Guest List
The solemnisation with a handful of witnesses and the banquet built around the yam seng can both happen at Raffles City. Couples planning a banquet in the hundreds will get the most out of the Fairmont Ballroom, where no pillar stands between any table and the stage. Couples with a shorter list can take SKAI Suites on Level 69, where the skyline runs along the windows all through dinner, and a buyout at JAAN puts two-Michelin-star cooking in front of the smallest parties.
Whichever setting a couple has in mind, above the skyline or in a ballroom full of family and friends, Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford have the space and the expertise to bring it to life, backed by heartfelt service and personalized consultations.
