Following the theme "Camp: Notes on Fashion", attendees this year’s Met Gala were required to come in the most extravagant and OTT outfits possible.

And the celebs definitely did not disappoint.

While we had jaw-dropping moments with Ezra Miller's mind-boggling makeup or Janelle Monae's eye-catching outfit, the Gala also saw surprisingly saw several wedding-worthy outfit inspirations that unquestionably belong under the theme: bridal.

Best of Both Worlds

Going or the old is gold theme? Lily Collins' Met Gala gown might just be the style you're going for. The Love, Rosie star clearly brought her A-game in a Giambattista Valli gown.

In what seems to be the perfect mesh of modern and vintage, the gown features a unique high-low cut, a dose of ruffles and a slightly voluminous skirt. The combination of these and the bridal white makes it perfect for the ceremony and beyond.

Sophisticated in Silk

The model stunned in silk simplicity. The soft pink Ralph Lauren gown is at home on the red carpet or the aisle. When paired with the proper accessories, the deceivingly simple outfit will have you exuding class and elegance on your big day, as Taylor Hill did at the Met Gala.

Halt, Pose and Go

Whether or not this dress is camp enough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s outfit is definitely a bridal inspiration. The model's Oscar de la Renta's blush gown is perfect for the brides leaning towards modern glam.

Featuring a halter neck, subtle embellishments and a lightly sultry chest slit, the gown's sleek and versatile design makes it ideal for both the ceremony and/or wedding reception

Subtle Shimmer

If you've got showstopping legs like Candice Swanepoel, then her embellished Prabal Gurung gown might just be your style. Classic, eye-catching and body-hugging, the strapless gown also features a thigh-high slit, allowing you to flaunt your legs and is perfect for the after-party or hen's party. While the strapless gown comes with a Cinderella-blue train, you can always choose to omit it, should this be your inspiration.

Gatsby Glamour

Decked out in Marchesa, Constance Wu's gown is tailor-made for the Gatsby-themed occasion. With its intricate details, shimmery headpiece and sheer details, the gown promises to draw attention whether on the dancefloor or as you make your way around the wedding venue

Shining, Shimmering Splendid

To end off the list of bridal inspiration from the 2019 Met Gala is Gemma Chan silver showstopper. The bejewelled Tom Ford column dress hugged her body flawlessly and came complete with a matching cape and a headpiece that appears to mirror the iron throne.

While the headpiece may be a little out of place for your big day (except for brides going for a little avant-garde), the rest of the outfit is perfect for a wedding reception that's as extravagant as it is.
