The galaxy's Star-Lord now has a whole new role to master - husband to Katherine Schwarzenegger! The couple recently tied the knot in an intimate and whimsical wedding in a Californian Ranch. 

The couple took to the 'gram to announce their engagement five months ago in January with an adorable caption that spoke volumes of their love for each other. This was also evident on the big day as well with reports of the couple beaming throughout the ceremony. 

While details of the ceremony are still being kept under wraps, here's what we know went down at the star-studded celebrations. 

The stars graced the aisle in Armani, looking at their bridal best throughout the ceremony. Complementing her bridal glow, Katherine donned a custom Armani column gown. The laced beauty featured a privé bustier, full skirt that extended into a train and was paired with a custom lace embroidered veil and her mother's—Maria Shriver—tulle veil.

However, for the couple's wedding reception the bride changed into her second Armani gown that was just as stunning. The ivory silk column gown featured a low back and draped sleeves that emphasised Katherine's slender figure.  

Chris, on the other hand, was seen in sporting a custom Armani suit, complete with a vest in midnight blue. To add to the sweetness of the entire ceremony, his son, Jack, mirrored his outfit in an Armani Junior suit of the same colour.

As mentioned, the couple sealed the deal in a Californian ranch - more specifically, the San Ysidro Ranch, known for its lush nature and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands. While there are no exact details of the couple's venue decoration - for inspiration purpose of course - according to PEOPLE, the venue exuded a romantic vibe and was filled with flowers and greenery, in line with the wedding's whimsical theme. 

Apart from its setting, San Ysidro Ranch is also known and favoured for its intimate celebrations, ideal for the couple's desire for a small-scale affair. Guests for the big day were capped to the couple's nearest and dearest including Jack, Katherine's siblings, family and friends. 

Despite what seemed like a simple celebration, the bride and groom clearly had the best day of their lives surrounded by love and loved ones.
