InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort sits on a private bay on the Son Tra Peninsula, 30 minutes from Danang's airport and under three hours by direct flight from Singapore. A Resort Built into the Rainforest 

Designed by architect Bill Bensley, the resort spans 39 hectares across four levels (Heaven, Sky, Earth, Sea) connected by a funicular railway that climbs the forested hillside down to a 700-metre private beach. 
The architecture mixes Vietnamese temple elements with French colonial design, and there is original artwork on practically every surface. Bensley's signature is a playful sense of theatre, and the resort shows it.

Privacy is central to the experience. Couples can move from beachfront vows to cocktails to dinner to an after-party without leaving the property, and the layout means different parts of the wedding can feel like entirely different settings. The resort can also arrange exclusive use of the entire grounds for couples who want that taken further.

Eight Wedding Venues, One Resort

The resort has eight distinct wedding venues spread across the property. Outdoors, the options range in scale:

Palm Garden holds ceremonies for up to 100 guests and receptions for 80, with the sea visible through the palms. Coconut Beach and Terra Mare Beach both take 200 guests for combined ceremonies and receptions. Sunset Beach seats 120 for ceremonies only.

La Maison 1888 Terrace is the most intimate outdoor venue, hosting up to 60 guests on the terrace of the resort's Michelin-starred French restaurant. The building is a Bensley-designed French Indochine mansion overlooking the East Sea and the gardens below.

Indoors, the Reception Hall takes up to 200 and the Great Hall up to 150. M Club doubles as a 50-guest dinner venue or a 100-person after-party space, with a stage and bar opening onto an outdoor terrace.

Three Wedding Packages

The resort currently offers three wedding packages: Paradise Dream, Timeless Elegance, and "Just the Two of Us".

Paradise Dream is the beachfront celebration. It pairs a ceremony and cocktail reception with a five-course dinner, floral arrangements, welcome drinks, canapés, selected beverages, a three-tier wedding cake, and a sound system. The couple stays two nights in a Penthouse, with a 60-minute spa treatment at Mi Sol Spa, an on-site coordinator, a Người Dẫn Lối (dedicated resort host), and return airport transfers.

Timeless Elegance moves the ceremony to the La Maison 1888 Terrace. The five-course dinner includes Champagne for the toast and canapés from the Michelin-starred kitchen, with fresh florals, selected beverages, a three-tier cake, and a sound system. The couple receives a two-night Penthouse stay, dinner for two at La Maison 1888, a 90-minute spa treatment, a dedicated resort host, an on-site coordinator, and return airport transfers.

"Just the Two of Us" is a private wedding for the couple alone. Inclusions are confirmed directly by the Events team.

More Than a Single Day

The strongest argument for a destination wedding here is that it does not have to end after the reception. Couples can stretch the celebration across several days with welcome drinks and private dinners on one end, group activities and post-wedding brunches on the other.

Guests staying over have plenty to fill their time. The resort offers watersports (kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding), yoga, guided nature walks through the Son Tra Peninsula, and culinary workshops. Mi Sol Spa is on-site. And there is a complimentary daily shuttle to Hoi An, the UNESCO-listed ancient town about 45 minutes south. It is a ready-made day trip for guests arriving early or staying late.

Food can be part of that personal layer too. The resort's chefs can work with couples to incorporate family recipes or culturally significant dishes into a customised wedding menu. If there is a dish tied to a family tradition or a shared memory, it can become part of the five-course dinner.
