For dark-haired ladies, opt to apply a mix of hibiscus oil, castor oil, coconut oil, olive oil and argan oil to rejuvenate the bonds in your hair. The latter two are optional and are there for additional moisture, but the first three oils are helpful and incredibly effective. Ever wondered why mama shop owners have such luxurious hair? That’s because you can get these oils for just $5 from the nearest supermarket or mama shop!

Before you go to sleep, apply the oils to the tips of your and massage it in. Better yet - get your new husband to do the massage for you! We’re sure he’d gladly do it. After that, cover your hair with a silk cloth and hit the sack.

Another useful tip is to use that same exact mixture and apply it onto your eyebrows and eyelashes or even better – use almond oil if you have it at the ready. If not, grab an eyebrow brush and brush the oil mixture lightly onto your brows before bed for healthy and radiant hair all around.

Your skin is the biggest victim to weeks and months of stress (but let’s not forget the decadent wedding desserts!) After your wedding, find a time to pamper yourself with a home-made scrub. First, grab a bowl and pour in 3 tablespoons of honey. Choose a type of honey that has low sugar content. Then, grab 1 tablespoon of salt and mix it in well. Why salt you might ask? Well salt, especially pink Himalayan salt, carries wonderful minerals and provides a great texture for a facial scrub without the risk of sugar crystals spiking skin irritation.

Two tablespoons of lemon or one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the bowl, and mix it up! Apply it to your face and leave it on for fifteen minutes, then gently scrub your face in light, circular motions and rinse it off. Almost immediately, you’ll find that your face feels smoother and softer than ever.

Eyes

Your eyes are the most sensitive part of our face, and probably tired from all the contact lenses worn, eyelash glue applied and nights kept up thinking about your big day. You might not believe this but a slice of cucumber on each of your eyes would do just the trick to calming puffy under-eye bags. For better results, spreading a tiny drop of lavender essential oils onto each slice of cucumber and let it lull you to sleep. Did you know that when you sleep, your body automatically works to fix itself and improve your well-being? That’s why your bedtime skincare routine is so important, and that is also why it is recommended that you apply your lash serum only before you’re about to head to bed. That’s the most efficient way to get results!

Follow our tips for a beauty skin regime that will have you quickly bouncing back to being the belle of the ball, even without all the make-up on! But remember that it’s what you put inside your body that counts as well, so drink plenty of water, eat fruits and vegetables and get tons of sleep!
