Orchard Hotel Singapore takes a different approach. On Sunday, 2 August 2026, the hotel opens its Grand Ballroom on Level 3 for the Millennium of Love wedding showcase, running from 12 noon to 5pm. The ballroom will be dressed as it would be on a real wedding day, so you can walk the aisle and see exactly what your guests would see.

Last year's edition drew strong crowds, and the format worked. Couples came in with questions and left with a venue. This year's showcase carries perks worth up to S$10,000 for couples who book, which we'll get to below.

The Grand Ballroom Itself

Start with the room itself, because it is the reason this hotel keeps appearing on shortlists. The Grand Ballroom is the largest column-free ballroom on Orchard Road, seating up to 100 tables of 10. If you've sat behind a structural column at a friend's wedding, squinting past concrete to catch the first dance, you already understand why this matters. Every seat in the room has a clear line to the stage. 

The space received a full makeover in recent years. Three floor-to-ceiling LED walls now anchor the room, which changes what a wedding here can look like. Your childhood photos at that scale, or a live feed of the march-in for the tables at the back. The cloud-like pendant installations overhead do the decorative heavy lifting, so even a simpler styling budget photographs well.

And if your guest list runs smaller, the hotel's three Orchard Ballrooms each hold up to 320 guests, while the Lavender Room suits intimate solemnisations where you'd rather have your vows heard than echoed.

Hua Ting's Kitchen Runs the Banquet

Any Singaporean couple knows the banquet menu gets discussed at reunion dinners for years afterwards. Orchard Hotel Singapore has an unfair advantage here. Its wedding menus come from Hua Ting Restaurant, the hotel's Award-winning Cantonese establishment helmed by Master Chef Chung Lap Fai.

Halal-certified menus are available too, so Malay weddings and mixed guest lists are fully catered for.

An Address Your Guests Already Know

The hotel sits at 442 Orchard Road – and nobody needs directions to Orchard Road. Out-of-town relatives can build a weekend around the trip, and anyone who arrives early has an entire shopping belt to wander. For couples doing a pre-banquet shoot, the hotel's clock tower lobby and its East-meets-West interiors by designer Pierre-Yves Rochon give photographers plenty to work with before you ever leave the building.
