Having recently gotten engaged to her then-boyfriend, Johnny Dex, Devon was treated to what has been named as the “most lavish proposal of all time”. Windsor was made to believe she was flying over to a private beach in the Bahamas but was instead greeted with the phrase, “Marry Me” written in the sand and a boyfriend waiting to pop the question with an oval-centred handcrafted diamond.

While private beaches don’t come by easily in Singapore. You can still achieve a pretty beachside proposal, complete with clear waters at Lazarus Island. To propose to his then-partner, Heidi Klum, Seal went with romance, romance and romance by building an igloo complete with a bed, rose petals strewn everywhere and candles. Truly a romantic set-up. While building an igloo in our sunny little island will prove to be quite a stretch, use the one we have available at Snow City! However, be sure to check with the staff there on the feasibility of your idea! Alternatively, you can also choose to propose during the “snow-falls” in Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay, if you don’t mind the crowds!
