A Gleeful Celebration: All You Need to Know About Lea Michele’s Wedding

Former Glee actress Lea Michele has recently joined the wife life, having tied the knot to Zandy Reich, the president of clothing brand AYR. The couple exchanged their vows in a private yet classic themed affair in Napa's Carneros Resort in California. 

Lea Michele stunned both guests and groom in a custom strapless, Monique Lhuillier gown. In line with the couple's desire for a classic wedding, the gown did not feature any of the current gown trends, instead, with its sweetheart neckline and corset-style bodice that is completed with a cathedral-length veil, the bridal outfit appeared to be lifted off a fairytale.

The glowing bride completed her bridal ceremony outfit with an elegant chignon hairdo coupled with a natural makeup look inspired by fellow Italian actress, Sophia Loren. Her reception look, however, took on a more flirty and carefree vibe in a custom white Monique Lhuillier long-sleeved lace mini dress and a high ponytail. 

Despite the celebration's low-key approach, the pair's wedding saw well-known faces like fellow cast members from both Glee and Scream Queens including Darren Criss, Becca Tobin, Emma Roberts and not forgetting, the bride's best friend and the man of honour, Jonathan Groff. In true celebrity style, the ceremony was officiated by the creator of both Glee and Scream Queens, Ryan Murphy.

The reception, on the other hand, was designed to give a nod to the bride's Italian childhood. Unlike the usual plated dinner, guests were treated to a Tuscany-Italian dinner with a family-style pasta, an endless flow of red wine with seafood, grilled cheese and fries for appetizers.

While the sweet treats for the big day featured a simple light vanilla cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing coupled with biscotti, chocolate cannoli and amaretto cookies, in line with the Italian feast.

Guests were also serenaded by Darren Criss and the couple themselves, who joined Criss to a rendition of "Torn".

One of the highlights of the celebration, however, was Michele's stunning rings. Michele first announced her engagement with a full view of her stunning 4-carat rectangular engagement ring, which she paired with a—you guessed it—classic diamond eternity band for her big day.
