| Dressing The Groomsmen |
| Today, being a stylish groomsman doesn't just entail the usual black suit, white shirt and tie. Options abound for the fashionably-inclined groom and his entourage. It's a matter of getting your look smartly coordinated. |
Your soon-to-be wife will look stunning at the altar and you need to make sure you look great too. Choosing a suit for you and your groomsmen is one of the responsibilities you will have before the wedding day.
While your wedding day is really about the two of you, the bride is usually the one calling the shots. Before you and your groomsmen choose suits or outfits, it would be a good idea to check with her or a bridesmaid and find out what they will be wearing. This way, you will be able to match your outfit colours to the bridesmaids' dresses or the flowers your bride has chosen.
Beyond The Tux
For formal weddings, the male members of the wedding party should dress in a similar style to the groom, but not identically. A popular approach is for the groom to wear a neutral-coloured tie while the groomsmen wear the same style suit, but use accessories such as boutonnieres or ties in colours that coordinate with the bridesmaids' dresses.
